MAORI LANGUAGE WEEK Monday 23rd July to Sunday 29th July
Last week it was Maori language week. Room 9 took lots of risks using Maori vocabulary all week!!! "Kai pai" Room 9!!!!!
Tūtira mai ngā iwi Tātou tātou e Tūtira mai ngā iwi Tātou tātou e Whai-a te marama-tanga me te aroha - e ngā iwi! Ki-a k'tapa-tahi Ki-a ko-tahi rā Tātou tātou e.
Check out Room 9!!! They learnt Mahunga, pakihiwi, puku, hope waewae, during Maori language week.

Several room 9 students took part in the school's production of "The journey to Oz" as either a munchkin, a good fairy, an evil fairy or a singer in the choir!!!!!
They performed TREMENDOUSLY at every show.
